青山霊園界隈の桜も咲き誇る頃、春の訪れを祝い、
花と酒 そしてお茶の三位一体で魅せる恒例企画「春爛漫・百花繚乱茶会」。
今年は伊賀焼に現代の風を吹かせる陶芸家・谷本洋をゲストに迎え、
瀬戸の寺田鉄平、京都の津田友子との三人展形式で開催します。
さらに華道家の山田尚俊が、春爛漫の名の通り艶やかな装花で魅了します。
昨年好評を博した茶人・小堀芙由子とのコラボレーション茶会も待望の再登場。
もちろん、酒数奇者・佐々木達郎も腕を構えてスタンバイ。
白白庵が絶対の自信を持ってお見せする春の競演を、お楽しみください！

記憶や痕跡 面影を残し
誰かの為に 生まれ変わること
「用の器」「用の美」としての茶盌を作り続けて２０余年。
用いる人を生かすものとして作品を生み続けて来た津田友子が、今ここに問う新作「Bones」。
それは名の示す通り、作品の「骨」であり「痕跡」である。
かつて自身が生み出した作品を別のものに昇華させるため、その作品を滅失させた上で残す「遺骨」のようなもの。
そこにはかつて存在した生の記憶が付着し、質量を失った物質として 儚くも強い印象を放つ。
茶陶の世界に生きながら、一方で前衛陶芸の世界にも触れて来た津田友子ならではの
茶盌という象徴的な作品が訴える、生と死の狭間の表現。
今展では最新作の楽茶盌、楽盃、ゴブレットやカップなどバリエーション豊富な「器」を展開するとともに、
オブジェ作品としての新作「Bones」シリーズの可能性を提示する。

津田友子にとって地元·京都での久しぶりの個展となる今回、会場はかねてよりご縁のあった妙蓮寺。
静かな時間の流れる枯山水の石庭を背景に、新作·代表作を中心に多数の作品を披露します。
本展にご来場の方々は、寺内における普段は有料の襖絵なども無料でご覧いただけます。
作品をお求めの方には、津田友子の茶盌を用いての呈茶の振る舞いも予定。
会場では毎日、作家が在廊致します。
また、津田友子の作品からインスピレーションを受けて生み出される舞踏公演も必見です。

毎年恒例の人気企画「夏の宵茶会」は、「陰影礼賛」や「幽玄の美」をテーマに開催を重ねてきました。
昨年は創業20周年の節目に、特別企画としてオンライン＋ギャラリーという形式で開催し好評を博しました。
今年もオンラインショップサイト《pakupakuan.shop》と実際のギャラリー展示の両構えで行います。
出品作家は白白庵が誇る実力派作家ぞろい。
華道家・山田尚俊による装花が会場に彩を添え、初日は茶人・松村宗亮による呈茶会、
二日目はバーテンダー・井上大輔によるカクテル茶会がそれぞれ夕刻より行われます。
タイトルの「青山白雲」は禅語の「青山元不動 白雲自去来」（せいざんもとふどう はくうんおのずからきょらいす）から引用しました。
どっしりとそびえる山の周囲を自在に変化しながら漂う雲。
前者を不動の心（仏性）、後者を人間の煩悩に喩えられた言葉ではありますが、
それぞれが動・不動の関係でお互いを引き立て合い、高め合っているとも感じられます。
奇しくも青山の地に白い庵を構える私たちは、揺るがない美の真髄を掲げながら、
時代の動きや人の心にも寄り添い、融通無碍の精神でこれからの日本の美の文脈を更新し続けたいと思います。
真夏の宵に味わう至極のひと時を、ぜひお楽しみください。
The popular annual Summer Evening Tea Ceremony has been held repeatedly under the themes of 'Inei Raisan'(In Praise of Shadows) and 'Yugen no Bi' (The Beauty of Ghosts).
Last year, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the company's founding, the event was held in the form of a special online + gallery event, which was very well received.
This year, the exhibition will again be held both on the online shop website 《pakupakuan.shop》 and in the gallery.
The exhibiting artists are all talented artists that PAKUPAKUAN is proud of.
Flower arrangement by YAMADA Shoshun (Flower arrangement artist) adds color to the venue, while tea ceremony by MATSUMURA Soryo (Tea master) is held on the first day.
On the second day, a cocktail tea ceremony by INOUE Daisuke(Bartender) will be held in the evening.
The title 'SEIZAN HAKUUN' is taken from the Zen phrase '青山元不動 白雲自去来 ' (Seizan motofudo hakuun onozukara kyoraisu).
Clouds drifting freely and changeably around a mountain that rises majestically.
Although the former is a metaphor for an immovable heart (Buddha nature) and the latter for human earthly desire, it can also be felt that they complement and enhance each other in a dynamic/immovable relationship.
We, who, coincidentally, have a white hermitage in Aoyama(青山), would like to continue to renew the context of Japanese beauty in the future with a flexible and impervious spirit, upholding the essence of unwavering beauty, while keeping close to the movements of the times and the hearts of people.

阪神百貨店では３回目となる、陶芸家・津田友子の個展を開催します。
今回はリニューアルしたばかりの８階「ハローカルチャー」にて、お茶を楽しむ特集展示の一環として開催されるものであり、
「喫茶」をテーマに三つの制作シリーズの最新作を紹介する機会となります。
津田の作陶の根幹である「楽焼」は茶の湯の歴史に深く根付く伝統的なもの。
若き日に一念発起して陶芸の道を志して以来、今に至るまで自身の中で醸成と進化を続ける代表的な制作シリーズです。
今展では近作から最新作まで、楽焼の茶盌・茶道具・喫茶の器の魅力を存分にお楽しみいただきます。
そして新しい作陶シリーズとしてご紹介するのが、表題作の「蜘蛛の糸」。
コロナ禍に苛まれる日々において、津田が自身の内面の揺れ動きや葛藤を経て見出した境地です。
芥川龍之介の小説の世界観から、禅の教えの数々を広く見渡しながら
「天からの救いの光」を鮮やかな色彩と流れる釉薬で表現する、精神性豊かな作品群となります。
今展では最新の茶盌、湯呑み、茶杯・酒盃、皿など多様な器で展開されます。
最後に、近年取り組むラグジュアリーなテーブルウェアの代表作としての「コンポート」を軸に、
食卓や生活の場に彩りと品格を与える食器の最新作を紹介します。
昨年の個展で発表した新しい釉薬「雨滴聲（うてきせい）」をベースにしつつ、どのように進化するのかをご期待ください。
お茶の産地として名高い京都府和束町のPR大使も務める津田友子の作陶は、お茶とは切っても切れない深い関係性を持ちます。
現代的なセンスと確かな技術で多様な表現を続ける作家の器とともに、豊かな喫茶の時間をお楽しみいただければ幸いです。

昨年は新型コロナウィルスの世界的蔓延のため中止となった神戸アートマルシェ。仕切り直しとなる第13回開催は、時代の要請を受けてオンラインとホテル会場の連動方式で行われます。
白白庵は前回（2019年）開催時にVIPルームに展開した移動式茶室「移民軒」（設計：眞田大輔）を再び構築し、画家・神戸博喜と陶芸家・津田友子による二人展を企画します。
二人は2017年に白白庵で企画・開催した展覧会「華気楼」以来のカップリング。
緻密な線描で花をモチーフに宇宙的な世界観を表現する神戸と、楽焼の茶道具と仏教的な観念を孕むラグジュアリーな器を展開する津田による、それぞれの死生観や「蓮の花」に対する思いを膨らませて作品を持ち寄る機会となります。
タイトルの「光明」は、深い闇に覆われた地獄から衆生（我々、人間）を「蓮華宝土（極楽浄土）」に導き出す光を意味します。
激動と混沌を深める一方の時代の中で、しっかりを根を張り美しい花を咲かせる蓮を象徴とし、来るべき時代を予見するかのような両作家の新作を揃えてお見せします。
建築家・眞田大輔による設計の移動式茶室「移民軒」をホテルの客室の中央に据え、白白庵スタイルの呈茶やバーテンダーによる特別な点前も披露。
格別のロケーションで初夏の海風を感じながら、アートとおもてなしをお楽しみいただける又とない機会となるでしょう。
Last year, the KOBE ART MARCHÉ was canceled due to the global spread of COVID-19.
The 13th holding, which will be a parting of the ways, will be held in conjunction with the online and hotel venues in response to the demands of the times.
PAKUPAKAN will re-construct the mobile tearoom “IMIN-KEN (Migrant’s house)” , designed by SANADA Daisuke, which was developed in the VIP room during the previous KOBE ART MARCHÉ (2019), and organize a two-person exhibition by the painter GODO Hiroki and the ceramic artist TSUDA Tomoko.
The two artists were once coupled in the exhibition “KA KI ROU”, which was organized and held at PAKUPAKUAN in 2017.
GODO, who expresses a cosmic worldview using flowers as a motif in his meticulous line drawings, and
TSUDA, who makes RAKU ware for tea ceremony and luxurious vessels imbued with ideas of Buddhism, will have the opportunity to bring their own works that expand their views on life and death and their thoughts on the 'lotus flower'.
The title “KO-MYO” means the light that leads Sattva (us, human beings) out of the deep darkness of hell to the “REN-GE-HOU-DO” (lotus flower-treasure land, paradise).
In these turbulent and chaotic times, the lotus which has strong roots and blooms beautifully, is the symbol of the new works by both artists, which seem to foreshadow the coming age.
The mobile tearoom ‘IMIN-KEN’, designed by architect SANADA Daisuke, will be set in the centre of the hotel rooms, with a PAKUPAKUAN-style tea ceremony and a special service by the bartender.
This will be a unique opportunity to enjoy art and hospitality while feeling the early summer sea breeze in an exceptional location.

【展覧会概要】
HRD ファインアートでは、東京・青山の白白庵との共同企画により、ペインターの寺島みどりと陶芸家の津田友子による二人展「松の樹/犀の角」を開催します。
寺島みどりは 1972 年京都生まれ。京都市立芸術大学大学院修了。油彩による抽象表現を一貫して追究し、色彩と筆触により絵画画面の中に空間を生み出す試みに取り組み続けています。
大画面の作品を得意とし、インスタレーションやワークショップなど幅広い活動も展開しています。
津田友子は 1975 年京都生まれ。楽焼の窯元・吉村楽入に師事し、また京都府立陶工高等技術専門校、京都市立工業試験場陶磁器コース本科などで研鑽を積みました。
現在は京都・花園に自らの窯「未央窯」を開き、楽茶盌にとどまらない多彩な作陶・表現に取り組み、全国各地で作品を発表しています。
本展は、それぞれが普段の制作の延長線上で生み出した陶と絵画を中心にしつつ、寺島は津田の陶の作品を、津田は寺島の絵画作品をインスピレーションとして制作した作品も展示されます。
また、制作の指針や生き方の根本に関わる言葉を互いに提示し、その言葉から着想した作品を制作するという、言葉を媒介とした交感/ダイアローグの試みも行われます。
展覧会タイトルの「松の樹/犀の角」は、津田が提示した「松樹千年の翠」という禅語と、寺島が提示した「犀の角のようにただ独り歩め」という仏教書の言葉から採られています。
陶芸と絵画という異なる領域に身を置きながら、自らの制作や探究に妥協なく邁進する同世代・同郷の二人の女性アーティスト。
その個性と表現がぶつかり合い、響き合う様子を、是非ご高覧ください。

HRD Fine Art is pleased to announce a two-man exhibition titled “Pine Tree / Rhinoceros Horn,” showcasing paintings of Midori Terashima and works of pottery of Tomoko Tsuda.
This exhibition is organized in collaboration with Pakupakuan, a gallery located in Aoyama, Tokyo.
Midori Terashima was born in Kyoto in 1972. She earned her MFA in painting at Kyoto City Unversity of Arts.
Mainly working in oil painting, Terashima’s primary focus is abstract expression, always in search of the ways to create or visualize space on the surface of canvas, using a wide range of colors and various brushstrokes.
Well known for her large-scale painting, Terashima has also been active in creating installation work as well as hosting painting workshops.
Tomoko Tsuda was born in Kyoto in 1975.
She apprenticed herself to the famed Raku ware pottery master Yoshimura Rakunyu, and also studied at Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School and the Ceramics Course at Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Research.
Currently working in her own pottery studio named “Biou Kiln,” located in Hanazono in Kyoto, Tsuda is creating a wide variety of ceramic wares, practicing different techniques not limited to her trademark, popular Raku tea bowls, and actively exhibiting her works nationwide.
While this exhibition’s main feature will be the two artists’ mainstay works, painting and pottery respectively, that are born from their everyday creation, there will also be some works resulting from the inspiration received from each other’s work.
Words also play some part, where the two artists present their own favorite or inspiring maxims or mottos, and each artist creates artworks based on the counterpart’s chosen words, like a kind of dialogue through words and images.
The exhibition title, “Pine Tree / Rhinoceros Horn” is taken from this dialogue: Tomoko Tsuda chose “Green of pine tree that lasts for one thousand years,” a Zen maxim; and Midori Terashima chose “Wander alone like a rhinoceros horn,” a phrase from the Buddhist scripture “Sutta Nipata.”
Terashima and Tsuda not only hail from the same city, Kyoto, are of the same generation, but they also share uncompromising, sincere attitude toward creation and exploration in art, though working in starkly different fields, namely painting and pottery.
This exhibition aims to stage the clash of the two strong creative personalities, while also highlighting the harmonious reverberation between them.

コロナ禍を経て生まれた「新しい呑み方」、
それでも変わらぬ「酒の楽しみ方」。
誰よりも日本酒と作家の作る器を愛し、いかなる時も洒脱な遊び心を失わない
「酒数奇者」佐々木達郎の冠企画が再び！
白白庵の誇る強力かつ個性あふれる作家陣の手によるぐい呑・酒盃の数々を、
軽妙かつ味わい深い語り口で実演紹介。
オンラインでは佐々木達郎の作品解説と日本酒の楽しみ方を生配信、
会場でも実際にその様子をご覧いただきます。
酒が先か、器が先か。
日本酒のロマンに魅入られた漢（おとこ）の掌に収まる酒盃はいかに。
"Sake is a drink for connection".
That is why we want to share sake with each other even when we are far away from each other.
"A new way of drinking" was born after the COVID-19, but "the way of enjoying sake" has not changed.
This is the second time that sake exhibitions have been held with "Sake Sukisha", SASAKI Tatsuro!
He loves sake and the vessels made by artists more than anyone else, and never loses his sense of playfulness.
He will be showing a variety of sake cups made by strong and unique artists from PAKUPAKUAN in a light-hearted and tasteful way.
The event will be broadcasted live online with SASAKI Tatsuro, explaining the artworks and how to enjoy sake.
You will also be able to see it at the venue.
Is it the sake first or the vessel first?
What kind of sake cup will fit in the hands of a man who is fascinated by the romance of sake?"

白白庵の茶室も客人を招くことなく月日が経過しました。
未だに多くのリスクが残る中、
それでも新しい日常におけるお茶の楽しみ方、
未来志向のお茶のスタイルが徐々に提唱されています。

白白庵が誇る気鋭の作家たちによる渾身の作品を揃え、

Just as the world was closed due to the spread of COVID-19, it's been a long time since we've had guests in our teahouse.
While many risks still remain, still, a new way to enjoy tea in daily life and a future-oriented style of tea are gradually being proposed.
We hope that 2022 will be the year when humanity will be able to take a solid step forward.

毎年恒例の人気企画「夏の宵茶会」は、昨年は新型コロナウィルス蔓延の影響を受けて開催できませんでした。
今年は創業二十周年の節目に特別企画として開催いたします。
昨年から発足させたオンラインショップサイトpakupakuan.shopと、実際のギャラリー店舗での展示販売の両構えで行う今回、参加出展者も実力派揃いで多士済々。
華道家・山田尚俊による装花が会場に祝祭のムードをふんだんに漂わせます。
タイトルの「The Phantom of the Tea Room」は「The Phantom of the Opera」（オペラ座の怪人）ならぬ「茶室の幻影」の意味。
四百年以上の時を経て醸成された茶の湯の文化を、現在から未来へ、日本から世界へと変換・発展させる白白庵ならではのバリエーション豊かな出品作品を揃えてお見せします。
日本が誇る建築物であり、歴史の中でのアートの価値付けの舞台としての「茶室」に潜む大きな可能性とロマン、それに取り憑かれた人々の夢と執念に思いを馳せます。
いつの時代も美を追求し、ドラマを生み出す人間の「業」こそが生きる力となる。
そう信じる私たちこそが、「茶室の幻影」なのです。
The popular annual "Summer Night Tea Party" could not be held last year due to the spread of COVID-19, but will be held this year as a special event to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the company.
The event will be held both on the online store site "pakupakuan.shop", which was launched last year, and in our actual store by appointments.
The flower arrangement by YAMADA Shoshun, a flower arrangement artist, created a festive mood in the venue.
The title "The Phantom of the Tea Room" means "the ghost of the tea room," like "The Phantom of the Opera.
PAKUPAKUAN has been transforming and developing the culture of the tea ceremony, which has been nurtured over 400 years, from the present to the future, from Japan to the world.
The exhibition will feature a rich variety of artworks and will remind us of the great potential and romance hidden in the tea room as a proud architecture of Japan and as a stage for attaching value to art, as well as the dreams and obsessions of those who became engrossed in it.
In all ages, the "deed" of people who pursue beauty and create drama is the power of life. We who believe this are "The Phantom of the Tea Room.

初めて焼き物の修行をしてから今日に至るまで、津田友子の制作の根幹を成すのは楽焼の茶道具。
赤・白・緋・鼠・墨など様々な色彩を表現し、たおやかで柔らかな質感は津田の楽焼ならではものとして人気を博しています。
一方、自身の出産後にふとしたきっかけで取り組み始めた高火度焼成の食器・酒器・花器などのシリーズは、
１０年を経てラグジュアリーなアイテムへと進化し、常に研究を重ねる釉薬による魅力も重なり、津田友子のもう一つのイメージを確立しています。
今回の個展では、三つの「喫茶」の楽しみ方をカテゴリーとして、それぞれの新作を多数出品します。
宇治茶の産地として、またその茶畑の景観の素晴らしさでも知られる京都府の和束町とのコラボレーションにより生まれた「和束茶器」のシリーズでは、
急須の原型とも言われる「宝賓」を中心に煎茶を美味しく淹れて味わうための作品を展開。
抹茶を楽しむ茶器として、津田友子の代表的な作品である楽焼の茶盌も、より印象深くダイナミックに進化を遂げています。
楽焼でしか表現できない質感・色彩、そして手に持った時に初めてわかるふんわりとした重量感。
お茶の心得のある方はもちろん、初心者も魅了してやまない自信の品々を用意します。
そして最後の「喫茶」は日本酒をはじめ様々なお酒を楽しむことを表現します。
お茶もお酒も、美味しくいただいて寛ぐことには違いがありません。
そんな時間を華やかに演出する酒杯やコンポート、異色の片口などユニークなアイテムが揃います。
個展タイトルの「雨滴聲（うてきせい）」は、雨音を如何に聞くかという禅問答から生まれた禅語です。
津田は新作の釉薬の色彩の流れる印象から、この言葉を見出しました。

1997～ for seven years, studied under YOSHIMURA Rakunyu (the artist of the hand-molded earthenware “RAKU”)
completed Kyoto Prefectural ceramist high technique specialized school, Molding department
completed Industrial Research Institute of Kyoto, Ceramics course
2015 named the kiln at Hanazono, Kyoto, as “BIOU KILN” and work hard at production.
A lot of handling in department stores, based in PAKUPAKUAN, Tokyo,
energizing by solo exhibitions, group exhibitions in each place of Japan.

２０２０年３月に開催し、コロナウィルス蔓延による影響を受けて会期途中で中止となった企画を、
一年後にオンラインとアポイントメントという形で再び力強く行います。
青山霊園界隈の桜も満開の頃、白白庵のリニューアル２周年として花と酒、そしてお茶の三位一体に
気鋭の作家達による遊び心と数奇の妙味を加え、華やかで希望に満ちた展覧会となるでしょう。
昨年に続き装花でご協力いただく華道家の山田尚俊は、オンライン配信での「ライブいけばな」も実施予定。
白白庵が誇る唯一無二の作家ラインナップによる個性的な作品に、禍を振り払うかのように
祈りを込めて生けて生けて生けまくる姿を、とくとご覧いただきます。
自宅でも、オフィスでも、屋外でも。一人でも、家族・友人と、大切なあの人と。

The event was held in March 2020 and was cancelled in the middle of the exhibition period due to the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak.
A year later, we will start the strong project again on our online shop and store by appointment.
At the time when the cherry blossoms in the Aoyama cemetery area are in full bloom, the trinity of flowers, sake, and tea, combined with the playfulness and the subtleties of up-and-coming artists would create a spectacular and hopeful exhibition as the second anniversary of the renovation of PAKUPAKUAN.
As the same as last year, flower arrangement artist YAMADA Shoshun will help us with flower arrangements, and will also be offering "live ikebana" via online streaming.
He will arrange tons of flowers with unique works of PAKUPAKUAN's one-of-a-kind artists as if he prayed to shake off the evil.
You can enjoy them at home, in the office, or outdoors, alone, with family and friends, or with a special someone.

白白庵の誇る強力かつ個性あふれる作家陣の手によるぐい呑・酒盃の数々を、軽妙かつ味わい深い語り口で実演紹介。
オンラインでは佐々木達郎の作品解説と日本酒の楽しみ方を生配信、会場でも実際にその様子をご覧いただきます。
酒が先か、器が先か。日本酒のロマンに魅入られた漢（おとこ）の掌に収まる酒盃はいかに。
Sake is the drink of EN (relationship). That's why we want to share sake with each other even when we are far away.
Even though "A new way of drinking sake" was born after COVID-19, "the way of enjoying sake" has not changed.
SASAKI Tatsuro, the "SAKE SUKISHA" who loves sake and artist-made vessels more than anyone else, and who never loses his sense of playfulness, is finally coming back!
In this time, he introduces a variety of sake cups made by powerful and unique artists in a light-hearted and tasteful way.
His event will be broadcasted online and he will explain the works and how to enjoy sake. (You will be able to see it at the venue.)

「壺中日月流」とは狭い室内（茶室）を時空を越えた仙境ととらえ、思うままに異次元体験する場所に見立てることを表す禅語。

京都で作陶し東京を中心に発表を行う津田友子の、待望の関西での個展となります。
メインとなるのは制作の軸であり作陶の道に進んで以来作り続ける、楽焼の茶盌、茶道具
「伝統」を継承しつつも独自の境地を切り開き、今や世代を代表する作り手へと着々とステップしている作家の現在地をお確かめいただけます。
また、近年取り組む高火度焼成のラグジュアリーな食器シリーズ「変奏」「Aladdin」の新作シリーズや、
昨年初めて発表したアート・オブジェ「Guardian」など、多様な制作の幅をお見せする機会となります。
京都府・和束町のプロモーションを手がけ、メディア出演も増えている津田友子の
陶芸家としてのユニークな可能性を存分に感じていただければ幸いです。
TSUDA Tomoko, who makes ceramics in Kyoto and presents them mostly in Tokyo, has a long-awaited solo exhibition in the Kansai area.
The main part of the exhibition is RAKU ware tea bowls and tea utensils that she has been making since she started to learn ceramics.
She has inherited “tradition” and also developed her own style. You would see the present place of the artist, who steadily steps up to one of the artists representing this generation.
And more, this is the opportunity to show the range of her various artworks: The series of high fired tableware, “HENSO”, “Aladdin”, that she has been working on in recent years, and art objects
“Guardian” that she released for the first time in the last year.

京都で作陶し東京を中心に発表を行う津田友子の、待望の関西での個展となります。
メインとなるのは制作の軸であり作陶の道に進んで以来作り続ける、楽焼の茶盌、茶道具
「伝統」を継承しつつも独自の境地を切り開き、今や世代を代表する作り手へと着々とステップしている作家の現在地をお確かめいただけます。
また、近年取り組む高火度焼成のラグジュアリーな食器シリーズ「変奏」「Aladdin」の新作シリーズや、
昨年初めて発表したアート・オブジェ「Guardian」など、多様な制作の幅をお見せする機会となります。
京都府・和束町のプロモーションを手がけ、メディア出演も増えている津田友子の
陶芸家としてのユニークな可能性を存分に感じていただければ幸いです。
TSUDA Tomoko, who makes ceramics in Kyoto and presents them mostly in Tokyo, has a long-awaited solo exhibition in the Kansai area.
The main part of the exhibition is RAKU ware tea bowls and tea utensils that she has been making since she started to learn ceramics.
She has inherited “tradition” and also developed her own style. You would see the present place of the artist, who steadily steps up to one of the artists representing this generation.
And more, this is the opportunity to show the range of her various artworks: The series of high fired tableware, “HENSO”, “Aladdin”, that she has been working on in recent years, and art objects
“Guardian” that she released for the first time in the last year.

初めて焼き物の修行をしてから今日に至るまで、津田友子の制作の根幹を成すのは楽焼の茶道具。
赤・白・緋・鼠・墨など様々な色彩を表現し、たおやかで柔らかな質感は津田の楽焼ならではものとして人気を博しています。
さらには多彩な動物・キャラクターが登場する香合も、ユーモアを感じさせる造形で評価を高めています。
これら楽焼の新作に加え、近年新たに立ち上げて国内外から高い評価を得るラグジュアリーな食器シリーズ「変奏」、さらには最新作のオブジェ「Guardian」を揃え、陶芸家としての新境地をお見せします。
「Guardian」は今までずっと器の使い勝手の良さ・使う人の仕草の美しさにこだわってきた津田が、初めて「用いる」ことから離れ
自身を取り巻く環境の変化、激動の世界情勢、人間の様々な欲望・衝動・激しい感情の揺れ動きなどに触れる中で、自らを、そして命をかけて大切にするもの、愛するものを護りたいと強く思い、生み出した作品群です。まるで密教法具の「独鈷杵（どっこしょ）」のように災厄を打ち払い、荒れた心や身体・環境を浄化する願いを込めて・・・。
陶芸家としての大きな転機を迎えている津田友子の作品を鑑賞するだけでなく、お茶室では呈茶会も行うことにより、初めての方にも手にとっていただきやすく致します。
どなたでも楽しんでいただける、土と炎の生み出す世界の魅力溢れる展覧会になれば幸いです。
Since TSUDA Tomoko started to learn ceramics for the first time, the core part of her making works has consisted of Raku wares for the tea ceremony.
She expresses several colors such as red/white/scarlet/gray/Japanese ink black and the like. The graceful and soft texture is popular as her own feature.
Moreover, her incent containers imitating varied animals/characters gain more and more high evaluations.
Added to these new Raku series, she would show the luxury tableware series, “HENSO”, that she started to make recently and has gained high evaluations in and out of Japan. Additionally, her
latest objects series, “Guardian”, will be shown.
She has focused on the usability of vessels and the beauty of users’ behaviors, but she has left “using” for the first time and created the “Guardian” series.
Under the changes surrounding her, ever-changing world affairs, humans’ desires, impulse, emotional upheaval, she has created the group of new works, hoping to guard herself and also what she
treasures and loves at the risk of her own life.
She wishes on her works for preventing disasters and purifying the stormy mind, body, and conditions as if “Dokkosho (one of the Esoteric Buddhist Ritual Implements)”…
Not only by appreciating the works of TSUDA Tomoko, who is at a major turning point as a ceramic artist, but also by joining the tea ceremony at our tea room, it would be easier to take her works
in your hand even if this would be the first time to see them.
We hope the exhibition would be full of the charm of her world created by clay and fire and everyone would enjoy it.

1975 born in Kyoto
1997～ for seven years, studied under YOSHIMURA Rakunyu (the artist of the hand-molded earthenware “RAKU”)
completed Kyoto Prefectural ceramist high technique specialized school, Molding department
completed Industrial Research Institute of Kyoto, Ceramics course
2015 named the kiln at Hanazono, Kyoto, as “BIOU KILN” and work hard at production.
A lot of handling in department stores, based in PAKUPAKUAN, Tokyo,
energizing by solo exhibitions, group exhibitions in each place of Japan.

半紙で練習をした上で陶に向き合い、 完成後には白石・津田とお茶・お酒を楽しみながら歓談のひとときも。

「神戸アートマルシェ」（KAM）は、海と山の異国情緒あふれる「神戸」の街で2009年にスタートし、昨年で第10回目を迎えました。
第1回目が始まった頃と現在では、日本のアートを取り巻く環境にも様々な変化が生じました。
同時に、アートフェアそのものの在り方も見直されるべき時期に来たと感じております。
「神戸を拠点にアートを国内外に向けて発信していきたい」との強い思いは変わることなく、私たちは現状に留まるのではなく、令和の時代も力強く歩み続けてゆきたいと思います。
新たな一歩を踏み出す今年の第11回開催では、「全室個展」形式という初めての試みを打ち出します。
会場内に漲るアートの力と熱気、そしてKAMならではのおもてなしの数々を、今年も「神戸メリケンパークオリエンタルホテル」にてお楽しみいただければ幸いです。
KAM started in 2009 in the city of Kobe - an exotic location wrapped in the embrace of both the mountains and the sea.
KAM celebrated its 10th exhibition in last year in 2018.
However, this year in 2019, KAM will take a new step forward with the 11th annual event and we will launch the first "all room solo exhibition". We hope that you can join us in enjoying the

本年度の実行委員長に白白庵代表の石橋圭吾が就任し、「全室個展」を掲げ様々な改革を行います。
まさにその改革の旗印ともいえる白白庵の出展室では、京都の陶芸家・津田友子の新作展を開催いたします。
長年取り組む楽焼の茶盌・茶道具の新作、近年立ち上げて国内外から高い評価を得るラグジュアリーな食器シリーズ「変奏」、そして最大の見所となるのは今回が初の発表となるオブジェ「Guardian」。
今までずっと器の使い勝手の良さ・使う人の仕草の美しさにこだわってきた津田が、初めて「用いる」ことから離れ 自身を取り巻く環境の変化、激動の世界情勢、人間の様々な欲望・衝動・激しい感情の揺れ動きなどに触れる中で、自らを、そして命をかけて大切にするもの、愛するものを護りたいと強く思い、生み出した作品群です。
まるで密教法具の「独鈷杵（どっこしょ）」のように災厄を打ち払い、荒れた心や身体・環境を浄化する願いを込めて・・・
陶芸家としての大きな転機を迎える津田友子の作品に、ぜひ触れに来てください。
